From market research to final shipment

Materials, tolerances, certifications, packaging.
Request quotes and evaluate pre-production samples.
Check certificates and plan inspection (AQL).
Negotiate lead time and shipping terms (Incoterms).
Final checks, labeling, and document review.
Avoid the pitfalls that cost teams time and money
Suppliers quote broadly when specs are unclear. Fix: Use an RFQ template with tolerances, certifications, testing, and packaging.
Low quotes can hide quality or lead-time risks. Fix: Score suppliers on price, capacity, QA maturity, and compliance.
Defects discovered after departure are costly. Fix: Book AQL inspection and verify labeling, barcodes, and carton qty.
Ask for business license, photos of production lines, ISO certificates, and recent third-party test reports. Video calls from the shop floor help.
For custom packaging and new tooling, expect 6–10 weeks. Reorders are faster once materials and QA are standardized.
We recommend at least pre-shipment AQL on first two POs and whenever you change materials, specs, or factory lines.
